We’re excited to welcome Iava Williams, Outreach Coordinator with Local Foods Local Places, a program of the SLV Local Foods Coalition.
Iava has worked with the Coalition since 2019, providing outreach and technical assistance to food producers and businesses throughout the Valley. She has been helping local businesses access the Community Food Access Tax Credit, developing listings for the SLV Local Roots Guide, and was an important part of the SLV Community Food & Agriculture Assessment and Action Plan.
On Thursday, she’ll share updates on these efforts, available resources, and the work underway to strengthen our regional food system.
